Here's how a picture book illustration is created!


1) A preliminary sketch is posted for editing comments or approval.
 

2) The line art version is then created, and posted for final approval.

3) After the line art has been approved, it is then hand-watercolored on card stock.*

*NOTE: The color stage is NOT subject to editing as it is done by hand and not on computer. Also, the color originals (on 8.5x11" 80lb. card stock) are mailed to the client for direct scanning and placement by the book layout designer. They are NOT on disk!

You are terrific!! You sure made all of this fun. At the beginning of the project when I was trying to decide on an illustrator, I tried to envision the end result of each person. You did better than I imagined it could be for the money. I will definitely call you for future projects.
